Provides proposal support for the Social Science Division. For departments that do not have their own Sponsored Research Administrator, this entails:
- Guiding faculty through the proposal process, from development through submission
- Creating timelines and checklists
- Developing budgets
- Navigating sponsor systems
- Ensuring school, university, and sponsor policies are being met
For all departments within the Social Science Division, Jimmy can provide guidance on:

- Cost sharing
- FAS 5-Day Proposal Submission Policy
- Indirect cost recovery
- Sponsor guidelines
Jimmy serves as a Dean Designee for the Social Sciences and the Arts and Humanities Divisions, responsible for the review and approval of proposals that meet the RAS review criteria.
